Serpentine Calligraphy - April 2, 2013

Inspired by Pearl Weng Liang Huang, a 73 year old Chinese teacher of Qi Gong and calligraphy, I took her advice and danced with the movement of the brush, furthering my snake fascination and doing it with hot wax and monotype. I appreciate the freedom that she encouraged in both of these formal forms - "make it your own, express your own movement language!"
