What is Your Art? July 28, 2015
I received a Seth Godin post today with the above title and it resonates so fully that all I want to do is extract a quote from the guts of it.
I define art as having nothing at all to do with painting.
Art is a human act, a generous contribution, something that might not work and it's intended to change the recipient (and the sender - I would add) for the better, often causing a connection to happen.
Five elements that are difficult to find and worth seeking out. Human, generous, risky, change, and connection.
Hallelulah! This is my prayer, now finally in words! But here's what's really crazy - I can't find a way to post a comment on his site! It's only a one way connection .... not living its own truth! Ai yi yi.
