Exploring Edges- February 18, 2014

Today the blustery wind, choppy water, low tide, and cross current provided conditions that nudged me off my course and onto a sand bar in the bay.  And having freed myself from that edge of the channel I was relentlessly pushed sideways so that I had to row angulated to move in a forward direction. It felt as though conditions were such as to push me up against all manner of edges in experiencing and exploring the aliveness of water, wind, oars, boat, and rower.
