Dancing with Dumbledore - June 26, 2016

It's sort of a magic Bach Tango sandwich. Last night a milonga tango dance in which one of people I danced with was a man with a waist length beard who was an excellent dancer and good fun, and today's concert was Tango - Piazzola and more current composers with three of them represented on stage by musicians in the ensemble who are faculty at a Reed College tango workshop for musicians. Most from Buenos Aires, they were amazing. Such a good reminder that danceable tango music goes far beyond the usual known tunes.
