Loving the End - June 3, 2016

Love and grief are brothers, says Stephen Jenkinson, something I am appreciating. I often take garden flowers to Hospice patients and the following week they are all but gone. Beauty presenting its most fragile self to the elements and succumbing in the effort, over and over, and we revel in the enjoyment of it.

Tonight we watched a favorite movie, a portrait of love and grief, Cherry Blossoms, and fell into the reverie and flow of the depiction through Butoh dance.
