Holding America Together- March 20, 2018

Sometimes David Brooks' opinion pieces move me to upset or delight and I find myself often more attracted to his perspectives than reliable liberals. Maybe the piece on Walt Whitman and Democracy today is the reason why.

Brooks is willing to be self reflective and step into less predictable directions, not simply knee jerk positioning.

It's worth the five minutes read if only to be reminded of a great American.
