Launching into the Third Age- Sept. 27 2011

Having retired one week ago (from a formal job, not life), I am now ready to embark on a 6 week journey to Canada to visit family and friends, and to do a few workshops en route. I notice that the workshops I've chosen connect to the eclectic aspects of self that seem to be asking for attention, expression. These are a plein air painting retreat, Heart Yoga with Andrew Harvey (promoter of sacred activism), and a Compassionate Listening course.

As I start on this next stage of the journey I’m intending to stay open and mindful of that which calls, wants expression, and responds to what life asks. The goal seems to be to understand and practice the art of Rebecca-ing.
