Out of Synch - December 8, 2012

I am struck by the notion that our consciousness and our hands are not a good match for each other. We have runaway material creativity in and manipulation of the physical world yet without the ability yet to modulate our appetite and enthusiasm in alignment with what our physical world can tolerate in terms of maintaining livability. 

And here we sit in the knowing of this and yet not in the doing of what needs to be done.

It seems the most likely possibility is rapid maturation of consciousness which hopefully will happen soon and quickly.
