Desert and Surprise - April 24, 2014

Driving toward the Sahara brought scenes of distant snow covered Atlas Mointains, Ziz Valley date oases, and ever drier conditions as depicted from my morning amble.

Received completely unexpected news that the painting on post from March 9, 2014 was awarded best in show at Redwood Arts Association juried show. I'd completely forgotten about entering it. Find myself thinking that it's surely a mistake or that there's something wrong with the judge. Hmm....
