Mixed Metaphors - April 29, 2014

Immersion in an Islamic culture is disorienting and exciting together and encourages my response of uniting disparate images from similar geographic locations into photo collage as below. It is difficult to photograph people here except from behind, especially women because of the taboo against public display of face and body. Cats, camels, and goats are fair game.
