My Wildest Dune -April 24, 2014

Wind, sand, and stars indeed. Physical environment of cinnamon honey dunes, constantly reshaped under darkest deep blue sky sprinkled with Milky Way, shooting stars, quarter moon, galaxies and all manner of heavenly bodies revealed once I mustered the effort to climb a dune in the dark.

Sunrise climb beyond furthest recent footsteps revealed unfurling waves of shadow and light which I luckily photographed after prying the shutter open since the mechanism had become crunchy with sand after a tumble.

Soles sanded with each step: soul refreshed.
