Digging Deep - November 6, 2015

In getting ready to present paintings for "sale" something made me go digging into dark nether regions of studio shelves where a few older encaustic paintings, half done, were begging for attention and so we had an afternoon of applying water color and acrylic to non waxy parts and now they want to join the party. 

At this point I'm losing my discernment about who comes and who heads out the door to another fate though I've noticed less emotion, even relief when I've placed some into their eternal rest place having exhausted every possibility that I can imagine, seemingly at the end of their natural existence.
