Spice it up - November 24, 2015

Fruit Caking Continued:

Day 2: purchase fresh spices from Co-op bulk jars - the scent is fantastic, and keep turning over the container of plumped up fruit and adding more brandy.



Day 4: mix ingredients and bake - the scent is intoxicating. Drown cakes in Grand Marnier and pack away for weeks and maybe some for a year. Half of the fruit is still fermenting and will get mixed and baked ..... and photographed after Thanksgiving. So much to be grateful for!
