Back on the Water - November 24, 2017

In the spirit of the holiday, I am grateful to be out rowing again after a schedule and weather imposed break. 

It was a gorgeous day on the water, so smooth that we decided to risk going around the island in a marginally sufficient tide in which we ended up having to row mightily through mud, hauling our asses all the while. A good workout and a great day. 

For the first time I tried taking photos through the clear case tied to the boat that holds my phone.

I was able to capture Nancy and when the camera accidentally turned in the direction of a selfie, well I caught myself too atop the boat.
