Art that Lasts - February 28, 2018
La Boheme with Yoncheva at the Minor was an emotionally wrenching, beautiful rainy afternoon experience.
I first saw this opera in Vienna at age 19, my starter opera, though I grew up with a mother who listened to the Met Opera Broadcasts on the CBC every Saturday and was exposed to much opera aurally.
What was a touching love story to the young me has grown to be an even more moving musical force about the love of life, living, and letting go in dying. Brava!
