Bach and Fourth

Noah in the kitchen
We are in Oregon celebrating the Fourth of July with family and granddogs, then catching a couple of concerts at the Oregon Bach Festival and both have been marvelous. Chill time hanging with kids at the Rogue River and eating Noah's barbecue with gourmet fixin's. Always big Yumm!

We had low expectations for OBF because of shakeups and loss of our beloved conductor, but the concerts were topnotch. The Cantata 105 including discussion was joyful and surprisingly well presented and Paul Jacobs, Julliard organist, was over the moon as usual with a full J.S. Bach program. It was back to familiar hard pews and sultry heat, making us feel at home with Bach.
