XR Painting and Singing

I traveled to the Bay Area to participate in the Extinction Rebellion direct action in downtown San Francisco today and it was well worth the trip.

Rain did not deter, speakers were excellent, especially the youth, and police well behaved for this non permitted action that shut down traffic around the Civic Center at 5:00 p.m. while we marched and then painted a huge XR logo on 7th St. in front of the courthouse.

Singing throughout by the Thrive Choir kept us warm. I was with my peeps!
