Drawing from Life - March 8, 2013

To quote my daughter, "life is incredible!", and indeed it is. One amazing thing after another. Since I've been back to playing with hot wax, I decided also to go return to life drawing sessions and the first was last night. I am a rank amateur and yet it is such a feeling of honor to be in a hushed room for a couple of hours simply drawing the human form. Once again it is process, not outcome that speaks to me. 

Back to color, I took some old drawings and worked them with wax .... and stuff. It's hard to believe that life could be this much fun.
