It happens in the most mundane moments and situations if my heart is open even just a crack, the countenance, rhythm of voice, tender glance, meaning below the words can penetrate to a particular spot like a key in a latch and connect to new or deep territory, revealing possibility of experience.
I just stepped outside to pick some chard for a colorful morning smoothie and noticed the cool, still fog outlining landscape contours that also kisses my skin and penetrates available places. I carry the aliveness of that moment into the house and into my day, letting it vibrate the places that can move.
