Color Puzzles - December 27, 2013

The Albers exercises continue with increasing difficulty. I am compelled to work to completion and am learning about color relatedness through playing and exploring with very few words as part of the process. Occasionally I find myself saying warmer, cooler, darker, lighter, more saturated, less saturated .... and that's about it as I search for the color solution.

The puzzle below was to start with two different colors (the bars on the bottom) and find background colors for each one to make them look similar. The top rectangles are the solution, the reversed  bar below emphasizes the differences. What fun!
