About the Light - January 21, 2014

Evening light settling in the canyons of midtown NYC, suffused from below by mechanical illumination. The effect is compelling, stilling, vibrating all at once. And it embodies the mood of the Carnegie Hall concert of Karl Jenkins' choral music. Still, deep, moving.

This post reminds me of the day Lauren was born. She is turning 32 at 9:00 am PST today. The morning she was born it was snowing in Arcata. The light looked just like that. Miss you.
