Steeped in Gratitude - July 13, 2014

The final concert of Verdi's Requiem was wave after wave of tsunami sound wrapped in an envelope of pure silence as delivered by the extraordinary Matthew Halls. We leave this festival with cells vibrating, aligned in joyful harmony, and filled with creative juices inspired by sublime musicianship. Most of all I feel deep gratitude to be alive, well, and fortunate enough to experience the mastery of brilliant artists.
