The Month of Gray - May 20, 2015

In the new upside down climate, May on the northcoast has become chilly, overcast, and unsatisfactorily dry. November or December seem like better garden planting months but habits haven't changed. The plants are amazingly adaptable. May we all be so. The spinach is almost rhubarb size so something must be right, or genetics run amok, or all the soil amending working overtime.
