Rejection - October 15, 2015

A piece of my artwork recently donated to a silent auction did not sell for my minimal price and much to my surprise, when they notified me, I felt no sting, even contentment. I feel like I am in very good company in the community of rejected artists. And I'm glad that I held to the price which was to raise money for them, not a penny to me. 

I am finally beginning to connect with a sense of worthiness in the work. And this piece is happy to try its luck in the next silent auction event where we will see what might happen.
