Let Them Eat Dirt - August 17, 2016
Now that we recognize ourselves as mobile communities of 10% human cells and 90% microbials, we have to recognize that maintaining all that flora is important. And there's nothing better than local dirt, loaded with healthy microbes.
And for organic gardeners, harvesting is easier. Just pick and cut those greens, a light rinse of carrots to remove dirt clods is fine. It saves water and time. Below is my garden dinner which I love not having to depend on a store for other than oil, vinegar, salt, pepper. All those super greens. Yumm!
