This notion of pursuit of perfection has always been a curiosity to me, the thought of attempting to achieve the unachievable, and how much sense does that make? And then it came in a meditation the other day in a most satisfying way. 

It's more that intention, expression, creativity, motivation, arise from the perfection of what is and the expression that flows from that contains the wabi sabi, uniquely different forms of expression that come through individual experience. Sort of a reverse order of things with the beauty of imperfection arising from the source of perfect beauty.
