A Spacious Place - January 9, 2012

I've noticed that fear is a most useful response when imminent danger is present, such as a rattle snake on the path. This has happened to me exactly one time, and I am grateful for the biological response that kept me safe.

Yet, most of the fear I experience is related not to base survival but to failed attempts to control and manage the world, usually in the form of other people. Ironically, they mostly aren't interested in complying, unless my wants are aligned with what is .... then we all get to know exactly that.

I love it when this happens, when I choose what is, when I inhabit that spacious, open, light-filled place, where it is a joy to just breathe, relax, vibrate, and appreciate.
