That's what it takes to row my boat, my delighted child self, wild adventurous adolescent, wise and careful adult, fear in the belly that decides when to turn back in windy weather. It takes a whole person not only to do the actual rowing but to be in all of the possibility of the experience. And there is nothing as delicious as wholeness.
