Pondering - March 13, 2014

I seem to be settling into a favorite painting medium and it's beeswax, both melted and cold and it makes me wonder "why this one?". Just now I am connecting my way of learning and exploring in the world which I often liken to gathering pollen as a bee, from many flowers, not just allegiance to one, and making honey from the gatherings. Similar to collage making. And I'm just realizing now that the wax is what holds the honey as it is formed, the honey structure. So my painting medium is a structure for holding together my creative impulses gathered from hither and yon. Sort of honey collage. Mmmm
