Satisfied - June 17, 2014

It is such a special treat to finish a painting and feel that excitement, joy even of loving the thing lying before me as if it just appeared there, a delightful apparition, not yet settled into itself, too new for gravitas, alive and breathing, connecting with its own nascent energy. This was my experience when the painting below emerged yesterday.
