"Stand Still and Listen - June 14, 2014
The forest knows where you are, you must let it find you." So says a David Whyte in a poem about being lost. And as always, a poem seems to find me right where I need it. Feeling unseen in the world, this admonishment turns the dynamic and implores me to pay attention to what is right here and meet it with open heart, not seeing what I want or expect, but what is here and connecting if I allow it. Poetry medicine.
