Night Sky Reserve - March 8, 2016

Yes, there really is such a thing and I will just have to trust that it's for real, since last night a thick layer of cloud intervened between me and that dark sky up here at Aoraki/Mt. Cook National Park. So I went to the planetarium show in the fancy hotel, yes, there really is a high tech planetarium there. One more night of dark so maybe tonight will be clear.

Meantime, morning sun is bringing views of surrounding mountains and even Mt. Cook is revealing a little more.
