Black Tie

Since it seems to be a colorful time, I will continue in this theme with dying of ties for the next project.

Trying for a deep black, I ended up with more deep purples and reds but since dying is something where other worldly intervention is part of the process, I will take what I got.

Because of the silk, texturing, and patterning, there are subtle differences that are lovely. I'll see how they knit up into butterfly wings.
