Powered by Pears

open deydrator is behind the jars

So good to get out early today after yesterday's rain, planted fig trees and applied wonderful compost, adding a comfrey plant and fava bean seeds to the tree planting, ala permaculture style of ongoing soil improvement.

I feel so good out there. powered by pears. Pears ripen in their own good timing, then are sliced to dry in the dehydrator and stored in jars for the winter, bit by bit, munch by munch.
