So Long Tassie - February 20, 2016

It was an exciting final day in a rugged land of hearty people and wildlife. On 3 meter swells we rode along steep cliff dolorite shores of the most southerly place I've been. Albatross overhead in amazing fast flight on long thin wings tossed and swerved as did our craft into caves and cliff arches. And capping the day, a visit to Port Arthur, prison for British petty criminals who built much of the early Hobart infrastructure.

There were roped climbers exploring these rocky cliffs.

Most southern lighthouse in Australia
