Wombats, Wallabies, and Tiger Snakes ... Oh My!

It's a Flinders Island welcome, and today a copperhead snake right at my front gate. So now I've met the two most venomous snakes on this island, but thankfully they are shy and disappeared smartly. The wallabies on the other hand start their grass trimming job at dusk right under my nose and apparently keep at it all night, thump whumping away when I get too close. Then their tracks on the beach this morning suggest moonlight bathing. Is it so?

My beach ... apparently. No one else using it whenever I go.
