Last night my art group of eight years spent our monthly meeting dining on sashimi and fine sake and were reminded of the connection and bonds of mutual support through changes of creative impetus and life situation. For too much of my life I haven't placed much importance on celebration but now I see not only much to celebrate and also the reminder of the gifts and their impermanence.
