How is it possible to be buoyed and light hearted in spirit, mood, inclination, activity in these times that are unprecedented in seriousness - no hyperbole needed - and yet I am. As if what I am asked is to just be in the beauty and grace of the moment. I could make a big problem out of this, scorn myself, steep in misery, yet that isn't happening at least not now. I seem to be taking joyfulness seriously as if someone's gotta do it.
