Heavy Waters - December 2, 2016
More metaphors rowing on the bay, today feeling the heavy darkness of the water tugging hard on oars, then rowing around the island in inadequate tide depth we dragged bottom and rowed through mud for a good upper body workout. Whew!
And my study list has moved into dark and deep territory as well, where I'm appreciating Prof. Jordan Peterson's youtube lectures on his book, Maps of Meaning: the Architecture of Belief. Good food for our times, a deep contemplation on ideology, personal beliefs, evil, and well presented by an intelligent, educated, and good expositor ... and with a Canadian accent that makes it all very down home.
