Me-ning - January 9, 2016

Yesterday in a conversation with a friend, she said the word "meaning" with such an emphasis and in such a way that I heard it as "me - ning", a gerund of me-ness, the essence of being "me". And I don't feel this in the small story me but in the essential, core me, and it has shifted the entire meaning of meaning to a much personal and meaningful one. Ha!
