The concept of resistance has variations across the physical sciences as well as social and political spheres. In psychology and spirituality it has a negative energy yet overall it is simply a force in opposition to another force. Movement is a result of a force acting on objects and counter force will change that motion. So, are we entering the age of Resistance? Are we called to be braking forces, walls against destruction, a drag on the negative flow of energy? Good NYT article on resistance.
