Everything is Different,

marsh shorebirds
It's not just like looking through a new lens or colored glass, it is "seeing" differently. The wind blowing the wisteria outside the kitchen window, the feeling of what to prioritize, I am perceiving more intensely and wonder is it because I am more present, it has all of my attention.

The shorebirds flew back and forth nearby in front of and over me in their large numbers and though the pattern was captivating it was the sound of wings beating and carving air together that took my breath away and left a thick silence behind.

I am feeling the relinquishing of the unnecessary in some ways lightening the load of former burdens yet the weight of Next is heavy and intense, focusing, mesmerizing, and exhausting at once.
