Hope is a verb with its sleeves rolled up. - David Orr

I have a long and troubled relationship with the "hope" word but this definition sets me buzzing.

It's how I move in the world with sleeves not only rolled up but long sleeve shirt hanging on the fence as the day heats up. Doing stuff has always been by way of rolling in the world, recovering, connecting, appreciating, and sweating my prayers.
