Listening to Bones - August 30, 2013

This amazing body, so usually taken for granted, performs miracles every moment. Neuroscientists have said that the most complex thing in the universe is the human brain. Phooey! First, how do they know the whole universe, and secondly, the unattached brain is a 5 pound pudding. Unless it's functioning thanks to the rest of the body, it's not very exciting. And what about the rest of that body? Talk about complex .... and amazing, the whole package is much more complicated than the brain alone. Then what about when bodies and minds interact? Where and how do you draw lines and distinctions? There's no end.

And for now, I'm in love with bones and with the peace of playing with their fantasy structures. It's enough.
