The Bliss of Aging - August 11, 2013

If I could sell this concept, I'd be a rich old woman. Swimming against the cultural tide, I'm thoroughly enjoying observing the effects of aging in myself, friends, and as I work with Hospice patients, in those at the end of life as well.

What intrigues me is what I let go of and the liberation that brings. Distractions drop away, and how petty they are revealed to be. It's like getting the windshield clean. The view is clearer, things make more sense, beauty abounds and sparkles, kerfuffles are seen for what they are rather than significant obstacles.

Wait a minute .... I am an aging woman, rich in life. What a ride!
