Being With - September 18, 2013

Interior phenomena beckon and feel as reliable pointers to new ways of being, yet I still bring a subtle tendency that wants to use this to control, to make things different than they are, to influence the future.

Then in the middle of the night, sitting under moonlight clouds, feeling murmuring breeze, listening to mechanical and nature made sounds, drinking in the silhouette of the old walnut tree punched out of the lit sky, an entirely new sensation arose of simply being with. It was as if the tables turned and the subjects of troubled thoughts came and sat beside me, with me, and we were in friendly alignment on the same side of reality. It was a joyful moment seemingly filled with new possibilities of seeing and being.
