Reflexion – is a seldom used English spelling of reflection, and these ideas sum up my experience of life, changing always, inviting reflection and flexibility. Evolving, because everything is engaged in the process, including me and my actions as evidenced in the "blook" The Way of Collage.

Dog Day - September 22, 2013
In a bizarre set of circumstances I found myself in an oil painting class today and painted little Ella, below, my first oil, and first dog. I am reminded of how daunting, challenging, and downright satisfying painting can be. Not so focused on realism recently, this was a stretch. And spending three hours in the doing of it felt like a real workout. I go to bed with appreciation for Rachel's guidance and all of the circumstances that conspired to allow this day to be.
