Movie and Screen - December 26, 2014

Having heard the metaphor of reality as screen and movie so many times and never really getting it, today on my row on the bay, it was there. Small me in the boat, part of the scene, looking at the scene, then a sudden flip to the whole scene as movie set, me in boat included as part of it. And back and forth it went. Allowing that felt sense of sampling other parts of the scene knowingly in the wide screen version (flying as bird, moving as wave, resting as land) then back in the boat, hauling along, sensing water surface on backside. Back and forth, in and out, screen, movie, me in boat, all apparently part of the screen, background, or at least dependent on it to be seen/felt/known. What a ride, indeed!
