Forget Eden - January 3, 2015

                    Forget Eden

   as she accepts the blossom

                    a meaningless snake slithered

                                          like a numb procession
                                          of sleepwalkers.

I can remember

           since I placed you on the porch     to ripen.

         the petty tyrannies which   look in the mirrors.

                               half hiding scrawny legs;

                                        so think about it hard.

                                                                     AMEN
