Starting the Year in Verse and Color - January 2, 2015
LATE BLOOM
It has been long ever since
I first woke up.
near the small converted barn-garage.
And through a rain
Of fine debris
You see her under fluffy, pink skies.
Spin her fiercely in the breeze,
the way Vermeer put light
and hummingbird wings
where I'll wait for you when I'm gone
It has been long ever since
I first woke up.
near the small converted barn-garage.
And through a rain
Of fine debris
You see her under fluffy, pink skies.
Spin her fiercely in the breeze,
the way Vermeer put light
and hummingbird wings
where I'll wait for you when I'm gone
